Presented by Limbic Production in collaboration with Lola Maury and Nada Sabet:

Heavily influenced by the creators’ backgrounds in theatre and dance, Little Pascal is a performance piece, only with no performers.

Little Pascal is created in response to the different emotions adults associate with their childhood memories. The further the association to these emotions go into the past, the more they relate to a memory that cannot be recounted clearly but is often connected to our senses, like a certain smell, melody or even more general perception of what the memory might have been (e.g. playing outside in the garden or park.)

The audience enters a space, where visual illustrations, an ever changing soundscape, set, props and smell allow them to emerge into an environment where they become the character, i.e. Little Pascal.. The game is integrated into the story to allow the audience to explore their surrounding by movement, touch and even taste.

(Visit http://littlepascal.blog.co.uk/ to share what smells you associate with your childhood).

The residency at DanceDigital’s Create Dance Studio, gives the opportunity to research how to assimilate these different elements, and marks the first big step in connecting the different components that will be creating the full-scale production.
